Johnston Central Library located in the centre of Cavan town is a vibrant cultural and educational hub serving the main public library designed by Shaffrey and Co Architects.

Multi award-winning library for Environmental Accessibility and Best Accessible Project and is recognized as a central meeting space for all ages. In the brief given to us by the client sustainable design was an important consideration when selecting the loose furniture and library shelving for this project. Durability with a timeless design ensures that today, some 20 years since library was built the furniture is in regular use.
